[Age birth to 5th grade]
Did you know most people who decide to follow Jesus do so before the age of 12? The childhood years are crucial years in building a faith foundation in the lives of kids. If you love kids, this is the ministry for you. Elementary kids start asking great questions and need adults in their lives who can show them what it looks like to live for Jesus every day. The littlest ones will learn about God for the first time through the love and teaching, they receive from caring adults. There are many ways you can help the Children's Ministry that will suit your skills and talents. Working with children will always be a rewarding experience!

This ministry will require a background check at no expense to you.

Nursery Volunteer	We need people that love to hold, play with, and care for babies from birth to 2 years of age.	Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:30
Check-In Station	We want to ensure the security of our children. Volunteers help parents check their children in and out of these rooms.	Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:30
Beginner Worship	We need people that will lead or help these 2 to 5-year old's in their age appropriate worship service.	Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 10:30
Children's Worship Helper	We need people who love children to help or sometimes lead these 1st - 5th graders in their age-appropriate worship service. It is an awesome time, and we'd love to have your help!	Sunday Mornings at 10:30
Group Teacher	Teaching children is always a blessing. You will develop friendships that will last a lifetime.	Sunday Mornings at 9:00
Wednesday Night Childcare	We need volunteers to engage and supervise children from approx. 2 to 11 years of age. We have a wonderful space geared just for this age group. It has a climbing fort for the little one, a TV to watch Christian based programs, lots of toys, and tables where games can be played by the bigger kids. We just need a couple of volunteers to stay with the kids each Wednesday night.	Four time a year for six weeks we meet on Wednesday nights.
Toy Cleaning	We have lots of toys throughout our ministry areas. To ensure that germs are not shared between children we clean these toys weekly.	At your convenience
Bus Driver	We have a 49 passenger silver bus that we use for children and youth events. Your trained driving skills could be a valued ministry. Our requirements are the same as the State of Illinois.	Various
Van/ Shuttle Driver	On many occasions we like to take our 15 passenger van to special events. The only requirements are good driving record and a class D license with a J02 Religious Org Bus certificate.	Various
