Children's Ministry Volunteer

[Age birth to 4th grade]
Did you know most people who decide to follow Jesus do so before the age of 12? The childhood years are crucial years in building a faith foundation in the lives of kids. If you love kids, this is the ministry for you. Elementary kids start asking great questions and need adults in their lives who can show them what it looks like to live for Jesus every day. The littlest ones will learn about God for the first time through the love and teaching they receive from caring adults. There are many ways you can help the Children's Ministry that will suit your skills and talents. Working with children will always be a rewarding experience!

Ministry Positions

This ministry requires that all adults (18+) have background check and Illinois Mandated Reporter at no expense to you.

Nursery Volunteer

We need people that love to hold, play with, and care for babies from birth to 2 years of age.

Availability:

Sunday mornings at 8:45 & 10:15

Toy Cleaning

We have lots of toys throughout our ministry areas. To ensure that germs are not shared between children we clean these toys weekly.

Beginner Worship

We need people that will lead or help these 2 to 5-year olds in their age appropriate worship service.

Availability:

Sunday mornings at 8:45 & 10:15

Check-In Station

We want to ensure the security of our children. Volunteers help parents check their children in and out of these rooms.

Sunday mornings at 8:45 & 10:15

Group Teacher

Teaching children is always a blessing. You will develop friendships that will last a lifetime.

Wednesday Night 

We need volunteers to engage and supervise children from approx. 2 to 11 years of age. We have a wonderful space geared just for this age group. We just need volunteers to stay engaged  with the kids each Wednesday night.  

Availability:

Four times a year for six weeks on Wednesdays

Children's Worship Helper

We need people who love children to help or sometimes lead these 1st - 5th graders in their age-appropriate worship service. It is an awesome time, and we'd love to have your help!

Sunday mornings at 10:15

Shuttle Driver

On many occasions we like to take our 15 passenger van to special events. The only requirements are good driving record and a class D license with a J02 Religious Org Bus certificate.
