Join the Heartbeat of Our Church: Pastoral Care
Pastoral care isn't just a job for the staff—it’s the calling of the whole church. It is the "all-hands-on-deck" approach that allows us to truly live out the Gospel. When we carry each other’s burdens, we aren't just doing chores; we are fulfilling the law of Christ.
"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ… Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."
— Galatians 6:2, 10

How You Can Make a Difference
Whether you have five minutes or five hours, a green thumb or a way with words, there is a place for you to serve. You don’t need a degree in counseling—you just need a heart for people.
| Ways to Serve | What it looks like |
| Connection | Sending cards to the homebound or making a quick "thinking of you" phone call. |
| Presence | Visiting friends in care facilities, hospitals, or their own homes. |
| Practical Help | Providing transportation to appointments or helping with small "fix-it" repairs and lawn care. |
| Nourishment | Preparing and delivering a meal to someone recovering from illness or surgery. Also preparing or serving food at a Funeral meal. |
| Spiritual Support | Setting aside time to pray with or for those who are hurting. |
| Special Moments | Remembering our ailing members with a small gesture on holidays and birthdays. |
