Serving in Student Ministry is changing the world, one life at a time. There are various ways you can get involved and have an impact on a student as they grow in their walk with Jesus. Our goal at Catlin Church of Christ is to take one step closer to Jesus, and some of the biggest steps we make are in middle school and high school.
To step in and pour into a student’s life changes their world. And changing their world changes the world. Student Ministry is for students in grades 6-12. We would love to help find somewhere for you to serve that is the best fit for you.
This ministry will require a background check at no expense to you.

Sunday School Teacher
We offer classes at 9:00 on Sunday morning for kids in 6th to 12th grade. If you like working with this age group and would be interested in teaching, this is a place for you.
Availability: Sunday mornings
Host Student Events
Our student minister is always looking for new ways to keep the students entertained with different venues for relationship building. Opening your home to an evening of fun would be greatly helpful.

Small Group Leaders
Student Ministry is changing the world, one life at a time. The role of a small group leader is to pour into and disciple a group of 4 to 6 students as they grow in their walk with Jesus. This looks like discussing the lesson and applying it to their lives, as well as what is going on in their world. Small group leaders can have some of the biggest impacts on a student's life, and walk with the Lord, and that changes the world.
Availability: Sunday evenings, Wednesday evenings
Event Volunteer
Several times during the year, we take kids to camps, retreats, and other activities. Depending upon the size of the group, our student minister will need a helping hand. It’s a great way to get to know our students and help them in their Christian journey.
Availability: Various
Van/ Shuttle Driver
On many occasions, we like to take our 15-passenger van to special events. The only requirements are a good driving record and a class D license with a J02 Religious Org. Bus certificate.
Availability: Various
