Growing Together in Prayer
Prayer is the heartbeat of our community. It’s more than a spiritual practice; it’s how we walk with Jesus daily—sharing our joys, seeking help in trouble, and inviting His presence into every corner of our lives.
At Catlin Church of Christ, we believe prayer transforms us and connects us. We prioritize seeking God’s face together, from our Sunday services to our private moments of need.

The Power of the Digital Prayer Chain
Why do we use social media for prayer? Because emergencies don’t keep office hours.
Imagine it’s 9:00 PM. You’re sitting alone in an ER waiting room. The staff is caring for your loved one, and while you appreciate the hospital chaplain, he’s a stranger. With shaking hands, you post a request to our Facebook group.
Suddenly, you aren't alone. Your phone begins to glow with notifications from friends and church family. The tears ease, the shaking stops, and you feel a sense of peace knowing that right now, people who love you are talking to God on your behalf.
You didn't have to wake anyone up. You didn't have to make a dozen calls. You simply asked, and your church family answered. That is the power of praying together.
